The Denon Home 150 is a compact active wireless speaker designed for network music playback and integration into multi-room systems based on the HEOS platform. It can operate as a standalone speaker for mono playback or be paired with a second Home 150 to create a stereo system.

The acoustic section uses an 89 mm woofer and a 25 mm tweeter, driven by two discrete Class D amplifiers. Digital signal processing manages the audio signal according to the speaker configuration, while the two drivers reproduce low and high frequencies separately.

Wireless connectivity includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and AirPlay 2, allowing content to be played from mobile devices, computers and music streaming services. The speaker also supports Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect and other services available through the HEOS platform, including Amazon Music HD, TuneIn and Deezer.

The Denon Home 150 also supports high-resolution audio files, including FLAC, WAV, ALAC and DSD at 2.8 and 5.6 MHz, with support for PCM signals up to 192 kHz/24-bit.

Wired connectivity includes an AUX input and a USB port for playback from compatible storage devices, as well as an Ethernet port for connection to the home network via cable.

The speaker is controlled through the HEOS app, available for iOS and Android devices, which allows the system to be configured, music services to be accessed, sources to be managed and multi-room groups to be created. HEOS Built-in compatible devices can be combined to play the same music in multiple rooms or different sources in individual rooms.

Two Denon Home 150 speakers can be paired through the HEOS app to create a stereo system, with one speaker assigned to the left channel and the other to the right channel. The speaker can also be used as part of a wireless home theater system together with compatible Denon soundbars and subwoofers, with the option of configuring it as a wireless rear speaker.

The top panel features capacitive controls for volume adjustment and playback functions. A proximity sensor detects when a hand approaches and activates the control illumination, while three quick-select buttons allow Internet radio stations and other preset sources to be stored and recalled.

Voice control is available through Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, while Apple Siri integration allows compatible voice commands to be used through the Apple ecosystem. The integrated microphone enables functions such as playback, pause, volume adjustment and track selection to be controlled.

The chassis features a fabric-covered finish available in white and black. The material used for the covering is water- and stain-resistant, allowing the speaker to be placed in different areas of the home.

The Denon Home 150 can be configured through the HEOS app and connected to the home network in just a few steps, becoming part of a distributed audio system that includes wireless speakers, soundbars, AV receivers and other HEOS Built-in compatible devices.
