At the heart of the speaker is the 15-inch HPD 385A driver, featuring a Girdacoustic-reinforced cone developed to increase diaphragm rigidity and improve control during operation. The HPD integrated drive unit combines a direct-radiating bass driver and a high-frequency compression driver within the same frame and magnet assembly. This concentric arrangement allows both drivers to behave as a virtually point-source radiator, delivering uniform frequency response, excellent time coherence, and highly accurate stereo imaging.

The cabinet is constructed from particle board panels finished with genuine wood veneer, combining structural strength with refined aesthetics. The driver is recessed into the front baffle to minimize diffraction and unwanted reflections generated by the cabinet edges, contributing to smoother and more natural sound reproduction.

Internally, the enclosure features structural bracing designed to reinforce the larger cabinet panels and reduce unwanted resonances that can occur in large enclosures. This construction improves vibration control, preserving sonic clarity while allowing the driver to perform at its full potential.
